Step by step
Generate the Section 14 letter, add your Axxess account number, and email it to their cancellations address. Keep the delivery receipt.
Once the 20 business days have passed, ask your bank to stop future Axxess debit orders so nothing is deducted after cancellation.
If Axxess asks for the full remaining contract, ask for their Regulation 5 calculation in writing, then escalate free of charge to the ICASA consumer complaints.

Common questions
Can Axxess make me pay out my whole contract?
No. Under Section 14(3) and Regulation 5 of the CPA, a cancellation penalty must be reasonable. It may reflect things like unrecovered discounts or subsidised equipment, but charging the full value of the remaining months is not allowed.
How long does it take to cancel with Axxess?
Your agreement ends 20 business days after Axxess receives your written notice. Weekends and South African public holidays don’t count. Our generator calculates the exact end date.
I signed Axxess’s terms. Can I still cancel?
Yes. Fixed-term internet agreements with individuals are covered by Section 14. Section 51 of the CPA makes contract terms that take away your consumer rights void.
