Common questions
Can Bad Boyz Security make me pay out my whole contract?
No. Under Section 14(3) and Regulation 5 of the CPA, a cancellation penalty must be reasonable. It may reflect things like unrecovered discounts or subsidised equipment, but charging the full value of the remaining months is not allowed.
How long does it take to cancel with Bad Boyz Security?
Your agreement ends 20 business days after Bad Boyz Security receives your written notice. Weekends and South African public holidays don’t count. Our generator calculates the exact end date.
I signed Bad Boyz Security’s terms. Can I still cancel?
Yes. Fixed-term security service agreements with individuals are covered by Section 14. Section 51 of the CPA makes contract terms that take away your consumer rights void.
